1. Device Warranty

All refurbished devices sold by RM TechStore include a warranty period based on condition grade:

12 months
Grade A+
Like new condition
6 months
Grade A
Minor cosmetic marks
24 months
Brand New
Full manufacturer warranty

2. What Is Covered

Our warranty covers:

  • Manufacturing defects and hardware failures
  • Battery capacity below 80% (within 6 months of purchase)
  • Screen defects not caused by physical damage
  • Software issues related to hardware malfunction
  • Charging port failures under normal use

3. What Is Not Covered

The warranty does not cover:

  • Physical damage (drops, cracks, bends)
  • Liquid damage
  • Damage caused by unauthorized repair attempts
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents) after purchase
  • Lost or stolen devices
  • iCloud/Google account locks (customer responsibility to remove)

4. Repair Service Warranty

All repairs carried out by RM TechStore include a 90-day warranty on parts and labour. If the same fault recurs within 90 days, we will repair it free of charge.

5. Claiming Under Warranty

To make a warranty claim:

  1. Contact us with your order reference and description of the fault
  2. We will arrange collection or ask you to bring the device to our store
  3. Our technicians will assess the device within 2 business days
  4. If covered, we will repair or replace the device at no cost
  5. If not covered, we will provide a quote before proceeding

6. Statutory Rights

This warranty is in addition to, and does not affect, your statutory rights under Portuguese and EU consumer law, including the legal guarantee of conformity for 2 years from delivery.
